To make your eye exam the most comfortable experience possible, our team of technicians will assist you through the entire process. Each of our technicians has been trained extensively to assist our doctors in performing all exam procedures and testing for your vision screening.
Technician Team Leader
Lauren is a Certified Paraoptometric technician, and has been in the field since 2006. A graduate of Greenville Technical College’s Ophthalmic Technician Program, Lauren is experienced in performing all patient pre-testing procedures as well as explaining eye exam procedures to patients. On weekends, she loves spending time outdoors or in the gym trying to keep in shape.
Stephanie is a graduate of the Greenville Technical College Ophthalmic Technician training program and is bilingual in Spanish and English allowing her to assist with our Spanish speaking patients. Stephanie also uses her language skills to serve as a volunteer/interpreter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Her other volunteer activity includes work with the South Carolina Special Olympics. Family and friends are very important to Stephanie so she spends as much time as possible with them and her 4 beloved Yorkies. For fun, Stephanie travels around the U.S. to enjoy her favorite international soccer teams play.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
Lauren graduated from Greenville Technical College’s Ophthalmic Technician program in 2010. She then joined the Greenville EyeCare family in 2011. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and cheering on the Gamecocks at South Carolina football games.
Josie has been in eye care for almost a year and is a graduate of Greenville Technical College’s Ophthalmic Medical Assistant program. She is working towards becoming a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. She has a 3 year old son and they love playing outside or going to the park. Also as a family, they love time at home with popcorn and a movie. In her spare time she loves to bake!
Tina has been in the eye care business for 3 and a half years and with Greenville Eyecare a year now. She is working towards her Ophthalmic Assistant Certification. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family, whether it’s a get together, taking trips to the lake or the beach and shopping of course!
Keyla is Doctor Tucker’s personal scribe. She performs documentation in the EHR gathering information for the patient’s visit and partnering with the physician to deliver the pinnacle of efficient patient care. She is also a Spanish translator and loves to relay information between the doctor and patient. Originally from Guatemala, Keyla moved with her family to the U.S. and has lived in California, Washington, Georgia and now South Carolina. She volunteers at her church and participates in missions trips as often as possible. In her spare time, Keyla enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on creative projects.
