Katie Mendez Office Manager
Katie worked with Greenville EyeCare Associates during her years at Riverside High School. After graduating with a BS in Business Management from Samford University, she returned to the practice and currently holds the position of Office Manager.  Katie’s main goal for our practice is to make the patient experience enjoyable by offering the best services, frames, lenses and contact lenses.  Her personal goal is to improve her Spanish fluency.  On weekends, she enjoys walking through Falls Park with her husband and Miniature Schnauzer, Sophie. She is also a member of US Masters Swimming through Team Greenville Swimming.

Tammy Mitchell Administration Team Leader
Born in Roanoake, Virginia, Tammy has been with Greenville EyeCare Associates for three years. She has a daily goal of increasing her knowledge of the eye care field to better assist patients. When she’s not reading books by Janet Evanovich, she works on becoming a Master Gardener.

Mary T. Johnson Administration
Mary has lived in various places through out the United States, including Queens and Long Island, New York, Florida and Michigan, before moving to her current residence in Greer, South Carolina. She has worked at Greenville EyeCare Associates since 2006. “Every day is a new day” with her pride and joy, her children and grandchildren.

Ashley Elliot Administration
Ashley is one of our friendly faces that you’ll find at the front desk greeting patients as they arrive to our office. She’ll work with you to verify insurance, update your profile information and ensure your visit to Greenville EyeCare is a smooth one. While away from the office, Ashley participates in activities at her church, Taylors First Baptist, and is also involved with the March of Dimes.

Donna Ortiz Translator
Shortly after graduating from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in New York City, Donna moved south and furthered her education at Greenville Technical College. Since being in Greenville, she has put her translation skills to work in the medical and financial services fields assisting Hispanic patients and customers while performing numerous administrative duties. Donna enjoys working with our Hispanic patients to ensure their needs are fully understood and that their experience at Greenville EyeCare is enjoyable.

Bette Jean Reece Administration
Bette Jean was born and raised in the Midwestern town of Hannibal, Missouri. After graduating with an Associate of Arts degree from Hannibal LaGrange University, she moved to Greenville in 2009. Two years later after working in various customer service positions, she joined the Greenville EyeCare team in 2011. Bette Jean happily assists our patients, ensuring that their visit to Greenville EyeCare is enjoyable. In her free time, Bette Jean enjoys spending time with her husband and taking frequent trips to the mountains.

Brittani Reeves Administration
Brittani has lived in South Carolina all her life, and with her husband and three children she now calls Dacusville home. After graduating from Pickens High School in 2005, Brittani attended pre-med classes at Southern Wesleyan University and Greenville Technical College. In her spare time, she loves to read, learn as much as she can about photography, scrapbook and spend time with her family.
